Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

1. Overview

This policy explains what information AVX collects when you use our website, our Discord server and our Discord support bot, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can ask us to delete it. It applies to all three. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Website and orders. When you check out we collect your email address, the products in your order, and the order or invoice ID. Your licence key is delivered to that email address. Payments are handled by our checkout and payment providers (see section 6), so we do not see or store your full card number.

Browser storage. Your cart is kept in your browser's local storage so it survives a refresh, and a few order details are kept in session storage while you complete checkout. This stays on your device. We also use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to count page views and understand how the site is used.

Discord. When you use our Discord server or bot we receive what Discord provides to bots: your user ID, username and server roles, plus anything you submit in a ticket, such as your answers to ticket forms, order IDs you redeem, and the messages and attachments you send in a ticket channel.

3. Support Tickets and Transcripts

Tickets are private channels between you and AVX staff. The bot only reads message content inside ticket channels. When a ticket is closed, the bot:

  • Saves the conversation as a transcript, including usernames, user IDs, message text and attachments.
  • Posts the transcript to a private staff log channel and sends a copy to you by direct message.
  • Stores the transcript file with GitHub so staff can look up past tickets, review disputes and verify purchases.

Because transcripts are saved, please do not share passwords, full card numbers or other sensitive details in a ticket. You can stop the conversation at any time by closing the ticket. Your messages are never used to train machine learning or AI models.

4. Server Backups

Administrators can use backup tools that save a snapshot of the AVX Discord server so it can be recovered after a raid or accidental deletion. A backup contains channels, roles and settings, and may include each member's user ID, username, nickname, roles and join date. Backups are only accessible to administrators and are not used for any other purpose.

5. How We Use Information

  • To process orders and deliver licence keys.
  • To provide customer support and verify purchases.
  • To resolve disputes, chargebacks and abuse.
  • To recover the Discord server and restore member roles.
  • To keep the website and bot secure and working.

We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell it.

6. Who We Share It With

We only share information with the services that help us run AVX:

  • Sellhub and the card and cryptocurrency payment processors it uses, to take payment and issue licence keys.
  • Discord, where our server, tickets and bot run.
  • GitHub, where ticket transcripts are stored.
  • Vercel, which hosts the website and provides analytics.
  • Our bot hosting provider, which runs the bot and holds its working files.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect AVX against fraud and abuse. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.

7. How Long We Keep It

  • Ticket transcripts: up to 12 months after the ticket is closed, then deleted.
  • Server backups: until replaced by a newer backup or for up to 12 months, whichever comes first.
  • Order records: as long as needed for support, licence delivery and dispute handling, and as required by our payment providers.
  • Cart and session data: stored only in your browser. You can clear it at any time.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including restricting staff access to tickets and backups and using providers that encrypt stored data at rest. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Deletion Requests

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, including ticket transcripts and any entries about you in server backups. To make a request:

  • Open a ticket in our Discord server and tell us what you want removed.
  • We may need to verify that you own the account or order before acting on the request.
  • We will confirm back to you once it is done. Information we must keep for payment, fraud or legal reasons may be retained.

Information held by Discord, GitHub, Sellhub and payment processors is also governed by their own policies and requests.

10. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, open a ticket and we will remove it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the new version.
